Client:

Górażdże Cement SA

Thanks to automation, the leader of the national cement production managed to shorten the financial and logistics processes from hours to minutes.

Górażdże Cement SA

Górażdze Cement SA, part of the Górażdże Group, is Poland’s market leader in the cement manufacturing industry.

The challenge

Górażdże Group comprises fast-growing companies managed according to modern standards, skillfully combining market and technology growth with environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility. One of the challenges faced by Górażdże Cement has been business process automation in the areas of finance and logistics, which is intended to enable repetitive tasks to be performed across different systems without human involvement.

The solution

The RPA solution developed by Betacom engineers automatically retrieves and processes data from different sources. Scenarios for handling the different processes are built on the basis of defined values and sequences. Robots read information from sources such as the SAP solution, the e-mail system or external web portals and use it to perform specific tasks. The robots operate as part of the UiPath RPA platform.

The benefits

Having the tasks carried out by robots significantly speeds up the work and reduces the probability of errors associated with manual processing. With the automation in place, business processes in the areas of finance and logistics can now be performed much faster, in minutes instead of hours.
